Lenovo responds to criticism and finally lets Linux install on the Yoga 900 and Yoga 900S

A few weeks ago Lenovo sparked a bitter controversy among users of Linux. Its flashy equipment Lenovo Yoga 900 and Lenovo Yoga 900S not allow the installation of Linux distributions because of a blockage in the BIOS intentional affecting storage units.

This manufacturer has released a firmware update the BIOS for these models and also for 710 IdeaPad who apparently were also affected, and install the problem will be finally solved.
